Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Czech Republic, Estonia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania.

Classification |
| A mark is registered under one or more
classes. You have to split your products
and/or services into classes before an
examination can take place or an application
for registration can be filed. There are 45
classes. Each class represents a group of
goods or services. A classification takes
place on the basis of your product or
service. On average, this comes down to 3
classes per product or service. CTC-ITP
takes care of this classification for you.

Analysing your trademark |
| Before submitting your application, we will
analyse if to all the conditions one accreted
for to be eligible for a registration. Through
this way we analyse if your mark
has enough distinctive power.

Application for a Trademark search - (not included)
|
| With a similar search we consult the trademark databases in the requested area in order to determine whether there are any visual, phonetically and conceptual similarities to your trademark in the classes in which your trademark has been classified. The results of this search can be used to determine whether your trademark is still available and whether it is distinctive enough to other trademarks. Since there are already thousands of registered trademarks, it is vital for you to know all the possible risks attached to your trademark.

Recommendations of Trademark search - (not included) |
| On the basis of these searches,
we will carry out an analysis and make a
recommendation. You can decide on the
basis of this recommendation whether you
still wish to file an application for your trademark.

Filing an application for registration |
| After your request and trademark has been analysed and classified, and the possible preliminary searches have been carried out and If you have developed a good trademark we will file an application for registration. After the application we receive
a confirmation and you will receive a
reservation number.

Monitoring publication period |
| Your trademark is subject to a compulsory
2-month publication before it can be
registered. We will monitor the publication
period for you.

Take care of a “Certificate of Registration” |
| After all the conditions necessary the
trademark will registered in the Trademark
office an we will take care of the
“Certificate of registration ”.

Renewal |
| We will handle the notification of your
trademark on the list of extension of
registration after 10 years, so that you will
be informed in a timely manner if your
registration is up for renewal.

All-in fee EU-Community trademark - registration
The registration fee of a trademark is EUR 1575,- excl. VAT. Extra fee for a device is EUR 110,00 if requested. To accelerate the proceedings you can choose for an emergency procedure and/or a single authorization, but it is also possible to receive an invoice and follow a normal procedure. If you choose for a single authorization you will receive the invoice after your payment.
